| 2. Activities Related to IAEA Regulations for Safe Transport of Radioactive Materials NUSTEC organizes an expert committee to study proposed drafts of IAEA regulations. The committee prepares comments on the drafts to be used by the Japanese missions to IAEA meetings. NUSTEC also summarizes the results of research and investigation conducted for this purpose, in order to collect necessary information. 3. PATRAM-related Activities NUSTEC organizes a committee for reviewing papers written by Japanese researchers to be presented at PATRAM, the international conference on the packaging and transportation of radioactive materials. |

Exchanges with Foreign Government-related Organizations Commissioned by the Japanese government, NUSTEC studies the activities of foreign government-related organizations including foreign regulatory authorities. And NUSTEC welcomes visitors to show the SPEEDI network system. Also, it exchanges related information with organization concerned in the U.S. 5. Exchanges with Developing Countries Concerning Nuclear Energy NUSTEC cooperates in lecture courses on the administration of nuclear safety regulations to staff members of government-related organizations from Asian countries. |
